Powell Cay

During our last visit to Powell Cay in 2018 we hiked on a trail from the beach near the anchorage to a beach on the ocean side. We had trouble finding the trail and had to walk through a swamp to get to the ocean side. Today we found the trailhead right away and, once again, had to walk through a swamp. As we were carefully walking on boards spread across the swamp I asked myself why we were even doing it. We completed the hike in both directions without mishap so I decided it was worth it to have an outing off of the boat. 

Once we returned to Breeze On we sailed nine miles SE to Manjack Cay. It was a lovely day for a sail. The sun was shining—finally—and the wind was just right.
