Souse

We went to the Farmers' Market again yesterday morning. This time we were early enough to buy some fresh sweet rolls. Yum. We also bought some souse. It is a Bahamian stew made with either chicken or conch. They usually eat it for breakfast. When I first heard of it I thought it was some weird sausage I have heard my mom's family talk about. It looked a little strange with the various chicken bones but it was really delicious. And it came with a soft, fresh baked roll that was still warm.
