Still on the Rappahannock

We have been exploring the Rappahannock River and waiting for the weather to improve before we move on. Sunday we had lunch at the Tides Inn, a lovely resort and spa. After lunch we motored to a new anchorage and tucked in to wait out some really nasty weather. The only time I even stepped out of the cabin yesterday was to assist in letting out more anchor rode. We were expecting high winds and wanted to be prepared. After the wind and rain subsided we moved on to a new anchorage this afternoon. We plan to move a little further up the bay tomorrow, then to Solomons on Thursday and home on Friday.
